Procurement Manager [Israel]


 

Minimum qualifications to apply this role:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
  • At least 3 years experience as a Purchasing Manager, preferably at a fast-growing high-tech company
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English and Hebrew.
  • Team player with great interpersonal skills.
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.

Preferred qualifications (If you have those, we see it as advantage, but it's not a must)

  • Familiarity with business, technology and financial principles
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Previous experience as a procurement manager in a public traded company
  • Solid judgment along with decision-making skills

How your day is going to look, what you will be doing?

  • Manage purchases engagements end to end. From sourcing to issue to delivery & payment.
  • Implement and operate P.O. methodologies and systems
  • Manage Melio's software annual budget
  • Develop, implement, and review procurement strategies, policies and procedures
  • Build relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Collaborate with business, legal and financial team members on contracts and invoicing
  • Establishing performance metrics to monitor and evaluate supplier performance
  • Maintaining supplier's database, purchase records, and related documentation
  • Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
  • Seek and enter into agreements with reliable vendors and suppliers
  • Assist all departments when needed

About the hiring department:

The Finance department takes an active role in designing features, managing the flow of funds, and decision-making. We monitor Melio's gross profit and keep a close eye on financial data.
