Job Description:
Qualification / Experience
- Masters in Chemistry.
- At least 05-08 years Relevant Teaching experience preferably in O Levels
- Preference would be given to individuals with M.Ed/B.Ed
Key Responsibilities
- Should have sound knowledge of Chemistry, regarding chemical elements, reactions, compounds and apply scientific principles to real-life situations
- Understand curriculum, develop schedules, teaching methods as well as lesson plans to help students cover the required content on time
- Inform and educate students about the lab safety and carrying out safe experiments
- Setting up assignments, tests, and experiments for grading students for teaching at different school levels.
- Supervise students’ laboratory work

- Create positive learning environments including resources based on child-directed learning.
- Ensure the implementation of the children’s safeguarding policy.
- Develop strategies to guide positive children’s behavior.
- The ability to teach gifted and talented children.
- Build open communication with children, families, and staff.
- Observe and record children’s growth, development and behavior using electronic portfolios.
- Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic, and safe.
- Help develop teaching goals for the school and its teachers.
- Undertake administrative tasks as required.
- Able to engage students through innovative teaching techniques.
- Being resourceful and creative to engage students.
- Able to break the complex concepts to both students and other members of staff.
- Sound technological skills and listening ability.
- Excellent written, communication and problem-solving skills.

- In process of pursuing a required degree.
- Medically unfit.
