Consumer & Sensory Insights Manager Eastern Europe - Your future position?

A Consumer & Sensory Insights Manager with the global leader in the creation of Taste & Wellbeing and an essential member of our Taste & Wellbeing Regional Marketing team focusing on the exciting Eastern Europe region while being based in our Vienna office.

You will report to the Marketing Director of Eastern-Europe.

As our Consumer & Sensory Insights (CSI) Manager for Eastern Europe, you will lead innovation and customer projects with the CSI programs to support the Eastern Europe T&W growth strategy. This is a new and hands-on role for the region, working with our sub-regional teams and local Marketing Managers.

In this exciting role:

  • You will build CSI regional and local strategy linked to our strategy, identifying growth opportunities and gaps from a consumer needs and sensory market dynamics perspective across all food experience categories
  • You will identify innovation needs in the EE region from a consumer preferences and sensory market dynamics perspective and ensure that the latest insights, CSI methodologies, and smart tools are used in the region and local markets where relevant
  • You will lead CSI support for customer briefs by conducting local consumer testing or working directly with the CSI Europe Sensory Insights team for projects requiring sensory descriptive/discrimination work
  • You will present CSI capabilities & know-how to local customers and train local teams to provide an understanding of CSI capabilities and keep the team updated on new CSI enablers & insights
  • You will connect to different partners to share regional CSI perspectives and work together on the projects and you will build a network with the local CSI community, universities, and market research agencies

Your professional profile includes:
  • A University degree in Food Science, Consumer Sciences, Sensory Science, Market Research or a relevant discipline
  • 5+ years' of relevant experience with an understanding of Sensory and Consumer research techniques and an emphasis on how to translate these insights into commercial propositions
  • Excellent Project management experience
  • Experience in Fizz and XLstat
  • An understanding of consumer and sensory insights tools and industry trends
  • Excellent oral and written proficiency in the English language and at least one Eastern European language
  • Willingness to travel
