You will join our water treatment team in Denmark that works locally and globally with sustainable water treatment solutions for drinking water and wastewater.

Industry Master of Science in Engineering

Together with DTU, Technical University of Denmark, we offer the opportunity for you to pursue an Industry Master of Science in Engineering as a part-time study whilst you work 25 hours a week in our Water & Wastewater Treatment Department. As an Industry Master of Science Engineering student, you get the unique opportunity to complete the master’s degree as a part-time study over four years. Alongside your studies, you will gain invaluable work experience at a workplace with an open, collaborative, and empowering culture.

You will be enrolled as an industrial MSc student under the Environmental Engineering programme at DTU, see https://www.dtu.dk/english/education/graduate/msc-programmes/environmental-engineering.This is a broad, interdisciplinary programme focusing on the technical and environmental sciences, offering several specialised study lines and the possibility to co-design your own education, in this case in collaboration with your employer. After pre-selection for this Graduate job, you will need to apply for admission to DTU.

You will join our Water & Wastewater Treatment Department

As our new graduate, you will work alongside a team of experienced water professionals who will provide guidance and mentorship as you grow. You will have the flexibility to attend classes and complete coursework on a schedule that allows you to work 25 hours a week.

In our Copenhagen office, we have a team working locally and internationally with water treatment projects for public waterworks and wastewater treatment plants as well as industrial wastewater treatment. The team works with the design of new waterworks for drinking water, design of wastewater treatment plants as well as design of pumping stations. The team is part of our global Water and Wastewater Treatment Division which has a strong focus on international cross-border collaboration. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with water treatment experts from the US, Singapore, Nordics as well as the Netherlands. The team in DK is a mix of engineers and chemists

As our graduate, your work tasks entail:

  • Data collection and data management
  • Treatment scenarios with pros and cons
  • Participation in the 3D design of water treatment plants
  • Tendering
  • Evaluate and assess results
  • Reporting and presenting for clients
  • Be an active part of our department

  • You have obtained or are in the process of obtaining a bachelor's degree or are currently studying for a master's degree in a relevant field and have been introduced to biological wastewater treatment or drinking water treatment.
  • Fluency in oral and written English is a prerequisite
  • Willingness to learn and work in a team, and possession of excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • EU/EAA citizenship or a work permit in Denmark is a prerequisite for the graduate position

To succeed in the team you need to have theoretical knowledge and a true interest in water treatment methods and design of water treatment plants as well as a big motivation for becoming a part of a team that must have an ongoing focus on developing sustainable water treatment plants with an increasing possibility to reuse resources in the water.
