The post holder will join the team of operatives working in various areas of the campus providing early morning cleaning services to all university properties.
At the end of this competition, we will create a panel of suitably qualified individuals to fill Housekeeping Assistant vacancies. If a Housekeeping Assistant position becomes available within 6 months of the interview dates, the candidates who are deemed appointable from this competition will be offered the next available Housekeeping Assistant position.
Post status: Permanent contracts, Specific Purpose contracts and Panel.
Hours of Post: Part-Time 17.5 hours per week.
Core work hours: Between 5am -9.30am.
Hourly Rate: €15.14 per hour.

Salary: This appointment will be made pro-rata on the Housekeeping Assistant Weekly Merged Salary Scale (€1,180.92 - €1,347.68 per fortnight) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. Please view the salary scale here.
