We are seeking a skilled and passionate Flag Football Coach/Quarterback to join our co-ed flag football team in Nigeria. This unique opportunity involves coaching our team and sharing your expertise in flag football techniques and strategies, while also serving as a quarterback during practices and games. As a coach, you will play a vital role in developing our players' skills and fostering a love for the sport.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive flag football training programs for players of all skill levels.
- Teach and demonstrate proper techniques, strategies, and rules of flag football.
- Organize practices, drills, and scrimmages to enhance players' skills and teamwork.
- Coach and mentor players, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Plan and coordinate team participation in flag football tournaments and events.
- Collaborate with team management to set goals and objectives for the season.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that promotes sportsmanship and respect.
- Serve as the team's quarterback during practices and games, showcasing your skills and leading by example.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience playing and coaching flag football, preferably at a competitive level.
- Strong knowledge of flag football techniques, rules, and strategies.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively coach and motivate players.
- Ability to adapt coaching methods to accommodate players of varying skill levels.
- Passion for developing young athletes and promoting a positive team culture.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to Nigeria for the duration of the coaching assignment.
- Valid passport and ability to secure necessary travel documents.
