Inviting applications for the role of FP&A Analyst – Assistant Manager – English – Remote EMEA/EU!
The Operational Controllership team provides support for our client’s financial activities for our affiliates across 90 countries across the globe, working closely with the local/regional business controllership teams.
Service scope includes preparatory and closing activities in areas like Compensation & Benefit, Supply Chain, Cash & Banking and Intercompany, FPnA, Stat which is a phenomenal opportunity to have an extensive overview of accounting for a global company.
Responsibilities
  • Supports all post-close reporting by acting as a key business partner to DACH finance team and to operating teams and analyzing financial results to drive operations.
  • Lead and coordinate recurring mechanisms including Sales, Orders and margins forecast.
  • Lead planning & reporting of DACH financial performance, with analysis of the key drivers
  • Support Finance and operational leadership in monthly Op Mech by driving consistent data analysis.
  • Manage monthly closing process, tracking entries to go, R&Os & forecasting accuracy.
  • Supports segment planning cycles including the long-term strategy plan and budget.
  • Support simplification efforts of finance activities
  • Support DACH leadership with P&L-specific analytics & ad-hoc requests.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Significant years multi-GAAP accounting experience
  • Proficiency in the English language
  • Has a deep understanding of how operational processes link to the financial statements.
  • Understand the interdependencies of key financial metrics / ratios.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Computer Literacy: MS Office, particularly Excel
  • ERP system (Oracle or SAP)
  • Statutory knowledge
  • ACCA certificate
  • A second European language is an advantage.
