JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION: THE GENERAL MANAGER
- Report directly to the Chairman on all hotel matters.
- Ensure the smooth running of all hotel operations.
- Ensure the hotel premises, guest rooms and outlets are cleaned and well maintained.
- Ensure all equipment, appliances and devises in all stations and outlets are working optimally, and repaired immediately when faulty.
- Directly supervise all Front Office operations and personnel.
- Relate with all guests of the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage the hotel guests’ complaints/feedback process, and make weekly reports to the management.
- Responsible for all correspondence with the hotel, and report to the Chairman where necessary.
- Represent the hotel management in all operational meetings and staff briefings.
- Ensures full compliance of the SOPs, customer service standards and policies by all staff.
- Supervise all Human Resource Management operations and administration.
- Work in conjunction with the Sales/Marketing team to develop strategies to ensure the hotel retains a high occupancy rate and profitability.
- Oversee the handling of the hotel’s social media presence.
- Oversee all group booking and events in the hotel.
- Oversees all OTAs partnership with the hotel.
- Ensure a thorough preparation is carried out for any upcoming event.
- Liaise with all heads of department in planning reservation and events.
- Coordinate all hotel special programs, promos and activities.
- Monitor the execution of all established hotel cost saving methods/techniques.
- Providing effective leadership, supports growth within the hotel team.
- Responsible for safety and occupational health of team and facility.
- Liaise with the various agencies that oversee different aspects of hotel operation.
- Manage and be involved in strategic stock taking related assignments and monitor the usage of all material resources.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₦300,000.00 - ₦350,000.00 per month
