Our Hout Bay family clients are seeking an au pair /home-organiser to assist and support their family of 3 boys - 4 years , 2 years and a gorgeous baby boy of 3months
They seek an au pair who very organised, baby and young children experienced, responsible and fun to join their team of hands-on parents and live-in nanny.
They seek a mature-in-approach au pair who loves admin, organisation, shopping, playing with children and a warm-family-focused home. The family live on a beautiful estate with family nearby with the same aged children. Lifts are often shared to the City Bowl and back
TIME: Mondays to Fridays from 10am to 5pm.
DESCRIPTION:
- Arrive at work at 10am to liaise with Mom re lists for doing various errands, shopping, organisation etc .
- Mom is planning to go back to work once the au pair is settled in but for now she wants to put systems in place.
- Have a plot and plan for the day/ week keeping in mind a theme for the week of activities
- Their lovely capable nanny mainly cares for the baby along with Mom but there will be times when the au pair sees to this bonny baby boy!
- In the mornings Mom or Dad take the 2 older boys to their preschool in the City Bowl. The au pair will pick up either at 12pm (first lift back home) and/or the 2pm pick up from their school. This is often shared with the other family on the estate.
- The 2 year old sometimes has a nap after his lunch but is ready to play ball and run around with his brother when he comes back from school.
- The boys are great boisterous friends but are also quite different and some days of the week the au pair will spend quality time with the one and Mom will do likewise with the other ensuring that their different needs are met.
- The older one is more sensitive and loves one-on-one time, whilst the 2yr old is full of energy and adventure so he needs to be watched closely as he can be a danger to himself.
- On some days take the 2 boys to extra murals in the area. The oldest boy loves the horses at the stable and some afternoons are spent there.
- Outings are also encouraged and the estate is very nature orientated.
- Feed them snacks along the way.
- Help with the earlier part of the nightly routine re preparing dinner or tidying up the play area etc.
- Ensure that their bags are packed and ready for the next day of school, fun and laughter.
- Leave at 5pm when Mom and or Dad take over.
START DATE: ASAP for the right candidate
MONTHLY SALARY: R15,000 to R16,000 neg, plus petrol @R4 km when using your car for the family.
