About the Role
- Lead the operational area in collaboration with the supervisors
- Ensure job control and quality while adhering to costs and KPIs
- Implementation and execution of all processes in the operational area, as well as monitoring compliance and adjusting when changes are needed
- Responsible for the implementation and achievement of agreed targets in the operational area. Monitoring targets, setting and following up on actions in case of non-fulfillment of set KPIs
- Possess expertise in the creation of warehouse concepts including maintenance of physical and system inventory
- You will manage the development, monitoring and compliance of quality and productivity metrics at the site
- You will ensure continuous optimization of warehouse operations (Kaizen)
- You will provide disciplinary and technical leadership to the warehouse staff at the site
- You comply with the cleanliness and safety guidelines (5S; TAPA)
- You ensure compliance with all statutory social regulations, occupational health and safety regulations and standards and ensure the promotion of accident prevention measures
- You are the contact person for all customer-specific issues from the operational area

Your ideal qualifications:- Ideally, you bring a completed training as a warehouse foreman or a higher education in the field of logistics or a degree in logistics
- You have several years of professional experience, ideally in a comparable position in the logistics industry, including management experience
- You are confident with Warehouse Management Systems, SAP and MS-Office
- You have a good command of written and spoken German and English
- You are a team player, have strong communication skills, are reliable and stress-resistant; you also enjoy working independently and are characterized by goal-oriented, proactive work with high self-demands
- You have a high willingness to learn and perform
- You enjoy working in a varied and exciting work environment for a global customer in a shift system
