Senior Security Analyst
Location: Mexico (Remote/Work-from-Home)
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Security Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. As a Senior Security Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing security operations, conducting advanced threat analysis, and leading incident response efforts. This role requires a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, proven experience in security operations, and the ability to work independently. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with 3 to 7 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity to take their career to the next level in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee security operations, including monitoring security events, incidents, and alerts using advanced security tools and technologies.
Conduct advanced threat analysis, including in-depth analysis of security incidents, to determine the root cause, scope, and potential impact on the organization's infrastructure and data.
Lead and coordinate incident response efforts for security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and containment of security breaches.
Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior security analysts, assisting in their professional development.
Collaborate with other cybersecurity teams to investigate and respond to security incidents, conducting thorough investigations and forensic analysis when necessary.
Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests to identify and address security gaps in the organization's infrastructure.
Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, and provide recommendations for security enhancements based on industry best practices.
Develop and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations to senior management and stakeholders, providing insights into the organization's security posture.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
3 to 7 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, with a focus on security operations and incident response.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems, and security technologies.
Experience with security monitoring tools such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems, IDS/IPS (Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems), and endpoint protection platforms.
Understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
Proven experience in incident response procedures, methodologies, and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess and prioritize security risks.
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), or GCIH (GIAC Certified Incident Handler) are desirable.
