Mechanical and Control Systems Engineer Wanted: Join Our Team!
Aker Solutions Subsea at Ågotnes is seeking Engineers to support our growing portifoleo of projects. You'll work in our state-of-the-art facilities, collaborating closely with our offshore and workshop team to witness the impact of your decisions in action.
We are now looking for both Mechanical and Control Systems Engineers.
In this role, you'll:
- Contribute to a variety of engineering tasks and unique projects.
- Define technical scopes for the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of our range of subsea products
- Troubleshoot and provide technical assistance to ensure the successful delivery of our products and services.
- Work within a diverse team of Engineering experts, leveraging their specialist knowledge areas.
- Drive improvements in product designs and work processes, proactively seeking innovation opportunities.
We think you should have:
To excel in this role, you should hold a BSc or MSc degree within a typical Mechanical Engineering dicipline or within one of the subjects of Automation/Electronic/Electrical Engineering (knowledge and experience within Network/ Information (Cyber) Security will be a benefit)
However, we also value other relevant combinations of education and experience.
Having a commercial mindset is essential, as we are passionate about seeing our clients succeed. As a team player with a hands-on approach and a structured mindset, you'll thrive in our collaborative environment. Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written, are necessary, and Norwegian language skills will be beneficial.
